Disconnected power cable to Bornholm offers unique test option

The island of Bornholm is on its own these days in terms of electricity supply, as the submarine cable to Sweden’s power grid has been disconnected. This is an interesting situation for researchers at DTU, who are investigating the ability of electric vehicles to stabilize the power grid.

Vehicle-Grid Integration Summit

On 21 and 22 November, DTU will host a summit on the Integration of Electric Vehicles in the power system.

The event will both disseminate results from our own ACES and Parker projects (day1) - but also feature a number of international projects and speakers involved in VGI research (day2).

Head of the Social Democrats, Mette Frederiksen, and world-renowned V2G expert, Proff. Willettt Kempton will be among the keynote/VIP speakers.

Both days will be at Risø DTU, Niels Bohr Auditoriet.

The presentations from the ACES session can be downloaded here.
